- First I make a "stamp pad" from a folded piece of felt.
- Pour a little bleach on this pad. Just enough to soak it, but not too soaked.
- Then gently "ink" up your stamps with bleach and stamp.
In only seconds you will see the color starting to fade. We used the swirl stamp from Baroke Motifs to stamp the first card on old olive.
Experiment with your colors first. The old olive bleached out to a color that was almost the same as Summer Sun. That made it easy to use Summer Sun for an accent color for the card. The Elegant Eggplant used in the second card bleached out to a pinkish color. I chose basic black to accent for a classy look.
Did you know navy and burgundy bleached out to brown? I am sure there is a science behind this, but I am not a scientist. I know nothing about color. I just know what I like and don't like. Here is a little video that Ciara made. Many of you have asked for me to put my demonstrations on the blog. Comment and let me know what you think.
