Finish It Friday April 10

I knew it was a holiday weekend and other people might have other things to do. I planned it today anyway so I could have something to do. Ciara actually got to go to the skating rink. She behaved really well this week, did all her homework, and did lots of chores. I planned something different for my FIF night. I needed to make Ciara's Easter dress. I bought a couple of yards of material at Wal-mart last week. (We will only have material for another week or so til they take it out of our store.) haven't sewed in forever, but guess I felt inspired to do one last material buy and dress from our local store. I was perfectly content to be on my own last night. I was halfway through the dress and fixing to have to go to the store and buy interfacing when my friend UB saved me. She came, brought interfacing, and stamped. I showed her how to use the stamp-a-ma-jig and she was hooked. All she wanted to do was 2 step stamping so she could play with it. Later when I picked up Ciara, we dropped by and got her two daughters to come play with us some more. I finished the dress except for the button holes. I will do them today and Ciara will get to go pick out some new spring shoes. I will post picture of the dress later with her modeling it, but suffice it to say, it is beautiful!
