The last couple of weeks of school were crazy, and I know I promised many things to many people, so I am going to try to catch up here. First of all, here is a shout of congratulations to some of my favorite 5th graders. Our school does a walk of fame the last day of school where the 5th graders and their families walk through the whole school while we stand outside our classrooms in the hallway and clap for them. Here are a few I have taught and loved:

Good Luck in Jr. High Aaron, Cadeja, Jacob, Rosa, and Colton:)
I know I promised lots of pictures of the retirement books I worked on. I asked all the staff to write a little note to the ladies retiring. Then I put those notes in a book I made by binding paper together with ribbons. I also added the pictures in the annuals for the whole time we have had annuals. I used Simply Scrappin' kits and it made it so easy. I added more solid color card stock and some printed designer series papers that matched. It made it easy to throw together, cause I knew that everything matched.

And of course, pictures of Ciara at playday, playing softball, and getting her perfect attendance certificate (4 years in a row). She had so much fun at playday and loves softball now and says that she wants to play softball when she grows up. She has come a long way from that screaming kid who cried the whole time I signed her up. Her grandmother and cousins are going to come watch her play tomorrow and she is really excited about that. Good Luck C!
