Technique Tuesdays
March 3, 2009 5:00-6:00 Make two cards with envies for $5. This should take around 30 minutes. I will show you how to use the cracked glass technique. It makes a great accent to add to a card or scrapbook page or any other paper craft.
Finish It Fridays
March 6th and 27th
Come have some great fun time while you work on whatever project you need to finish. There is no charge for this night.
March 6 will also be trade days starting at 7 pm. Bring all your old stuff you don’t want anymore, and see if it is just what someone has been looking for.
March 27 will be a big shot demonstration starting at 7 pm. I think you will love the versatility of this tool. I will demonstrate several things you can do with the big shot. Start thinking about what titles you need for your scrapbooking pages, or what things you would like to have for your cards. Bring your own paper and be prepared to crank out the goodies. After the demonstration, I will let you use this tool to cut whatever you want. I have hundreds of dies, including alphabets, embosslets, nestabilities, and lots of other shapes. Take advantage of this demo esp. if you are considering buying a die cutting machine.

Spring Bling card swap.
Email steeh@sbcglobal.net to sign up or call 585-8021. Cards will need to be 5 x 7. All cards will need to have at least two layers and have one “bling” item. All cards must be ready to send with a sentiment inside. The theme of the card can be birthday, get well, sympathy, or thinking of you, or whatever you want as long as it is springy, blingy, and 5x7. Do not include envelopes. Sign up by March 13th. I will let everyone know how many participants there will be by that weekend. Then have your cards to me by April 1st. If you live out of town, mail them to me at 703 C SE Childress, TX 79201 and then include enough postage so I can send yours back. This is a fun way to get a lot of cards and a lot of ideas.
Private Lessons
I have had some ask for private lessons, or private crops. I will charge a $10 an hour fee for this. Call 585-8021 if you want to schedule a time.
