Happy Valentine's Day
I usually hate this day. It is a reminder of what I don't have. But this year, I have managed to be so busy that I didn't have time to think about romance at all. I was busy crafting! Last night my friend, MV, hosted a Stampin' Up! party for sale-a-bration. We made 4 Valentine Projects. I only managed to forget one ink color and two punches. We survived. I also made the cutest little purse for my hostess. It was so easy that I decided to make some for my friends for a little Valentine gift. They loved them! I got the idea here on the scor pal website. I do not own a scor pal, but used the dimensions on the instructions and scored it with my fiskars cutter using the scoring blade. I love using the scoring blade, but you can't press very hard or you will cut thin paper.

These are the projects for the party last night. We made cans with x's and o's. I cut out scallop heart cards using my new nestabilities die. We made tiny little gift cards with Very Vanilla cardstock and Real Red ink. I love that combination. We also made a layered happy heart card. It was so much fun making all these projects. The hostess, MV, made the cutest little door prize gifts. Somehow my tiny little hersheys bar is missing. That's what I get for letting Ciara help me pack up!

Here are Ciara's Valentines for her class. I can't believe that this year she took her list and wrote them all herself. The phones have slots to put in a piece of gum and fold closed.
