All At Once

Why does everything bad have to happen to you all at once? Why couldn't we just deal with maybe one thing a week, or so? These are the things that have happened in the past couple of weeks:

• doggie door flap broke off (again)
• vacuum cleaner broke
• dishwasher came unattached from the cabinet (again)
• messed up two stampin' up! orders
• Ciara did a really bad thing (really bad)
• week before 3rd reading TAKS and 4th WL TAKS (need I say more?)
• got a cold
• typed Ciara's last name in wrong on my taxes (big boo boo)
• bought 3 prepaid visas not knowing you can only have two (always read the fine print first)
• the wind caught the front door of the house. It blew over and banged into the porch rail. The porch rail broke and the handle of the door broke. It doesn't shut right now.
• Did I mention Ciara did a really bad thing?
• The door fell of the crop shop tonight when we were leaving. Those glass doors are really heavy.

I am really a glass half full type of person, but all this at once is kind of much. However, I am trying to remain positive. Next week will be stressful with testing on Tuesday, but I also have planned a stampin' up! event for that afternoon. That way, I will have something to look forward to!!! I also have my first Finish It Friday coming up this Friday. I am looking forward to chilling out with the gals and working on Ciara's scrapbook. It has been months since I have done anything at all. I just know things are gonna get better!

I really shouldn't complain at all. My dear friend has just said Goodbye to her precious grandfather for the last time on this earth. Another friend has spent two weeks with her son in the hospital. Another lost her father this week. My complaints are just minor irritations, not major storms.

God never promised there wouldn't be storms, but promised that he would never, ever leave us.
