Ice Skating

Ciara got to go ice skating yesterday at Amarillo.  She had a quick little lesson to learn a few things.   She was amazing!!!  I still can't believe how she took of skating away on the ice and did so great.  In fact, it was quite a while before she fell.  At first she had a couple of nice little falls and giggled at how she was getting ice all over her pants.  But then she tried speed skating and fell hard.  She cut a little piece of skin off her palm and she cut her wrist.  She ignored all the rules, skated the wrong way, walked on the concrete on her ice skates and went to the bathroom.  She was ready to go home then, but I made her skate a few more rounds before we left.  Looking at these pictures and the smile on her face makes the whole day worth while.  I am so glad I could let her have this opportunity.
