Celebrating Ciara

I am so proud of my amazing girl!! She brought home her best ever report card of 3rd grade. She passed everything and only had 2 C's. She wanted me to pay her like my step-mom pays my nephews. So I did. She got $10 for an A, $5 for a B, and $1 for a C. She made $72!!! She spent $20 at the book fair for a Kittylicious diary book that has pictures of cats and things to write about. She has loved writing in it. She also bought a book about puppies and kittens. She loves reading about animals. She carried around the Taylor Swift book that she wanted for a long time and then changed her mind. She also looked at a 3D weather book and decided it would scare her!! Today they were testing the tornado sirens when we went to lunch and she was freaking out the whole time!! Then today after school she spent some of her money at Pretty Nails to get nails. She got the red tips because red is her new favorite color. I am so proud of how hard she worked and how her grades are improving.

Today, she brought me an even greater surprise. I celebrated this feat with tears, cause I know that there are many who said she couldn't do this. She had come close to "passing" before, but this is way above passing.

Ciara, I know you are working hard and I am so proud of you!!
