Workshop Projects

This weekend I had a party for a brand new stamper.  I hope she and her friends liked the projects.  I know we had a lot of fun.  The first is a beautiful card that I copied from a very talented lady that I found when I was blog hopping.  She is full of ideas and I have learned a lot from her.  (I love blog stalking!!)

The purse is a project from Kaisercraft.  I found it on their blog also.  For a hostess gift, I filled this little purse with lots of punched pieces or pieces that I had cut with the sizzix.

If you want to book a party, let me know.  I am always on the lookout for new hostesses.

Here are a couple of other things I have been working on lately.

This card uses the ornament stamp as a vase.  I cut the bottom flat so it could "sit" down.   I love, love, love using punches for things other than they were intended.  The flowers on this card and the purse were made using the 5 petal flower punch.  I spritzed alcohol on the flower and wadded it up.  Then I straightened it out and rolled it a little around a bone folder.  Then I sponged ink around the edges.   I put a flower punch from the trio punch in the center.  On the purse, I added some crystal effects on the flower to make it shine a little.

I was practicing using my border punch to make this card.  I found a tutorial on the web to show how to use the corner punch and the border punch to do this.  I have since found an easier way.  I would love to show you how, just ask!!  I love, love, love this border punch.  I have used it in every project I have done since I got it.  The best thing about it is that it was FREE!!  That is right.  It is a sale-a-bration item.  I can't believe how easy it is to use.  I thought this made an adorable baby card.

Here are some cards that I am making using the excellent eggs kit.  I love the rub-ons and I love the bling.  I don't think I will ever use all the flowers in this kit.  I had so much fun making these sweet cards.

Thanks for looking!!

Wow, those are sweet cards! They all look great! I'm proud of you for accomplishing so much. I have lots of great intentions, but not a lot to show for it!
