Where Did It All Go?

My last post was titled Where Did the Weekend Go? and now I must ask, where did my week go and yet another weekend.   It seems to pass so fast.  I meant to blog, but just didn't get the time.  So here is a quickie of what happened last week.

Monday - Ciara had Dr. appt.  She started on Datrana and Clonidine.  I took a nap between 5:30 and 6.  Ciara woke me up to take her to gymnastics.  I somehow stayed awake until 7 when I picked her up.  Then I put on my pj's and climbed into bed.  I was asleep by 7:15 and down for the night.

Tuesday - Ciara put on her Datrana patch.  The rest of the day was so uneventful that I can't even remember it.  American Idol started, so I put on my pj's and climbed into Ciara's bed to watch the first night.  (Ciara has a tv in her bedroom andI don't.)  I did manage to stay awake and see it all!!

Wednesday - Awana sign up night and pizza party at church.  Ciara misses GA's so much, but loves Awana also.  She does hate that she is so far behind everyone memorizing the verses and she hasn't got her vest yet.  I am sure it will happen eventually.

Thursday - can't even remember it!!

Friday - busy, busy day.  Worked so hard.  Decided to take a little nappie around 5.  I woke up at 11:30 thinking it was about 6 and I should fix Ciara some supper!!  Boy was I surprised.

I do have the most wonderful daughter.  She let me rest those two days when I really needed it.  She worked so hard this week taking care of her animals, cleaning her messes, and getting her homework done.   She also didn't back talk me one time!!  Imagine that!!!  (That nail money is working wonders, Aunt Sue.  Thanks so much.  She is on her 3rd set since Christmas.)  It was a little hard to get used to being nice to mommy, but she is getting pretty good at it now.  We had a real test Friday.  She didn't mind me, so I didn't let her go to the skating rink.  She was so mad and wanted to say some things to me, I am sure, but she held it in, accepted her punishment and didn't even throw anything.  Do you think the medicine thing could be helping also???

Now for the weekend:

Saturday -  we slept really late (big surprise, huh!!)  Then we got busy.  Since we worked so hard cleaning and organizing the kitchen last week, there wasn't much to do in there.  We steam cleaned my closet floor.  There is a sticky mouse trap stuck on the floor and I think it will be there forever.  I don't think we will ever get it off.  It tried to rip the linoleum when I pulled on it!!  For reals!!!  Ciara cleaned and vacuumed her room by herself without me nagging her!!  We rearranged my craft room and I took it back!!!  I haven't been in there since October when we found the baby mice in there running around!!!  I did leave a few sticky traps in strategic places.  I am pretty unorganized cause I am rearranging and putting things in new spots, but I think I will really like it.  Ciara went to the skating rink for a few hours while I worked on the cutest valentine card for the party next weekend.  It is amazing!!  I have never seen one like it.  It has lots of folds and cuts, but was really simple and is so cute.  I know everyone is going to really love it!!

Sunday - Ciara woke me up early begging to go eat at Garibaldi's.  She loves going there on Sundays.  After lunch, we drove to Shamrock to a friends birthday party.  We had cake and played outside.  It was a beautiful day.  Then we shopped in Shamrock a little.   Ciara took her first Clonidine pill.  Two hours later, she was still awake!!  How does that thing work???

That brings us back to another week.   This is report card week, so it will be busy, busy, busy.  Saturday I am having my first Stampin' Up! party of the year.  I am very excited about all the promotions going on.  I have been playing with some of my new stuff and I cased the cutest card for us to make on Saturday. 

Tomorrow is my aunt and uncle's anniversary and Wednesday is my cousin's big 40 bday, so shout out to y'all.  Hope y'all have a great week!!  Wish we could celebrate together.   My family really knows how to celebrat the big 40.  Mine was the best ever.  I'm off to get some rest for this busy, busy week!!  (C is already asleep.  I guess the clonidine finally kicked in!!)
