101 Uses for a Ziploc Baggie at Disney

Another day at Disney brings more family fun. We finally figured out what we need to take with us for the day. How do we take all that stuff - Ziploc baggies. Here are some of the items we put in them:

• puffy Cheetos
• popcorn
• sandwiches
• Kleenexes
• money
• q-tips

We are staying really close to Disney. Unfortunately, none of the drivers can figure out the way back to the house. So far a different driver has gotten lost every night.

Yesterday we went to Epcot. We rode the Nemo ride and saw Turtle Talk with Crush. We saw some dolphins, sharks, and manatees in a tank that is amazingly everywhere you look. The kids went to Innoventions and made frogs and pyramids. The big cousins went to Mexico and shopped. Then we grabbed some quesadilla kid meals and walked down to the American Showcase Gardens to see the candlelight ceremony and hear the choir. Stephen Curtis Chapman narrated the Christmas story and the huge choir sang beautiful Christmas songs. It was definitely a highlight of our Christmas Season. I couldn't help thinking that even though Jesus wasn't really born on Christmas, I could concentrate on the birth of my Savior and reflect on that very night while mass chaos reigns everywhere else. It was very peaceful and relaxing to spend that time focusing on the birth of Jesus.

After that, we ran through the rest of the World Showcase and I took Ciara, Ryan, and Bekah to the Donald Duck show. We rode a little boat and tried to find Donald all through Mexico. The girls loved it so much that they wanted to ride it again, so we did. Then we saw the Illuminations ceremony. The little ones hated the noise, but we all loved the lights. The other big cousins rode Soaring. One of the greatest things that happened yesterday was that a family was leaving as we were going in and they gave us their double stroller they had rented. All of the little cousins could ride and believe me they did. They are all tired. Ciara was crying when we got there for a stroller.

We haven't decided on today's plans. Some want to go to Disney's Animal Kingdom and others want to go back to Hollywood Studios. None want to go to the Magic Kingdom today as we heard a couple of years ago it closed at ten am with its capacity. We will save that for tomorrow.
