Friday Flick Review

This week I am really excited about two movies that I haven't even seen yet!  Secrets of the Mountain comes on tv tonight.  My dvr has been set for a week.  I plan on making it a family movie time with popcorn and snacks and really enjoying watching this movie with my daughter.  This isn't my usual type of movie.  I like funny romances and this movie is adventurous.  But since my daughter is not going skating on Fridays until she is in 4th grade, having a plan will avoid the meltdown and fight she is sure to want to start.  Also, I saw the advertisements for Letters to Juliet.  It looks like a wonderful movie and has one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs!!  It comes out May 14th.  I will  have to be very patient.

My movie to review for tonight is Alex and Emma.  I watched this movie this month ago on tv.  It was so cute.  If you love Luke Wilson and Kate Hudson, you will like it.  He is an author who has a debt he must pay or he will get killed.  He has to get his book finished to get the money for it.  She is a stenographer that he hires to help him write his book.  At first, she is reluctant to help him, but then she does.  She questions all the characters he comes up with and how the story goes and ends up changing the story a lot while they fall in love.  It is too cute!
