Christmas Me!!

Since I love filling out these questionaires, I thought I would do this one I found here. It kind of makes you think about things.

1. What is your Favorite Christmas Movie?
hmmm.. have to consider that for a while, but I love the one where a woman plays the role of the dickens character and reunites with her neice at the end. Can't think of the name, maybe I will google it. Ebbie

2. What is your Least favorite Christmas Movie?
A Christmas Story

3. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Away in a Manger because there is a way that was provided to us in that manger that we can be saved and spend eternity with Jesus.

4. What Christmas song(s) drives you crazy?
12 days of Christmas

5. What is your favorite Christmas Drink? (ie. egg nog, hot chocolate)
I actually love egg nog, but haven't had any in a long time. I love hot chocolate also. My mom had the best recipe and I make some up when I want hot chocolate. No store bought mixes for me.


6. What is your favorite Christmas Memory?

7. What is the best toy/gift you've received on Christmas?
I got a stapler and construction paper and a little black and white tv for Christmas when I was in 6th grade. I loved having paper to craft with. (You think?)

8. What is the worst toy/gift you've received on Christmas? I can't really remember anything I didn't like. Oh, well yes, I remember something now. My dog had died just before Christmas and my then mother-in-law got me this toy dog that barked to replace him. It was just so insensitive.


9. What do you LOVE about the holidays?
Time off, being with family

10. What annoys you about the holidays?
bad weather season or cold weather

11. Do you prefer star or angel on top of a Christmas tree? Or something else?
angel, always an angel

12. What is your family favorite recipe at Christmas? I really miss my mom's fudge. She would make chocolate with and without nuts and she would make peanut butter. Sometimes she would make butterscotch or white chocolate for me. I also really loved my friends crackers that she gave this year. I wish I hadn't lost that recipe. Oh well, something else to google later...

13. Are you a Grinch or a Who at Christmastime?
Depends on how much my SAD is effecting me, but probably a Who

14. Christmas light displays - Love them or Hate them?
I can take or leave them. They are pretty, but a huge waste of money.

15. Santa's at the mall - Fun times or Creepy?
haven't had much experience with Santas at malls since there is not a nearby mall. I don't like standing in lines to pay money to have my picture made, so probably wouldn't like them.

16. Christmas cards - do you send them, yes or no?
I always make them, but rarely actually send them.

17. What is the best thing about Christmas, in your opinion?
Hallmark Card Commercials - I always cry at those, but didn't see any this year. Movies - I love those Christmas Miracle movies. Parties and giving - I love to give to those I love.


18. What is the worst thing about Christmas?
It is over so quickly.

19. When do you put the tree up and take it down?
Well, this year I didn't even put one up. I have been known to leave one up until May. Usually I put one up after my daughter's birthday in the early part of December and take it down in January.

20. Out of the 12 days of Christmas, which day and item would you want your truelove to give to you?
I have no true love, so don't guess I will get anything.

21. Why do you think that Grandma got run over by a reindeer?
runaway reindeer I guess

22. Who is your favorite reindeer?
Don't have one

23. Do you believe in Santa Claus?
Yes, Yes, Yes

24. What is your favorite smell at Christmas time?
My new Scentsy snowberry sent

25. What would make you happy at Christmas this year?
Who says I am not happy???
