I had other plans for today. I had other plans for this month, this summer..... Sometimes our plans are not our own. A few weeks ago I began doing the WW Walkit challenge. I started off really great and was so excited. Then my foot started hurting so bad I couldn't even put my weight on it. I went to see our local dr. who sent me to a foot dr. Yesterday I got to visit with him. He used a big long word for what is wrong but basically it is just sore. I need to rest it so it can heal. If I don't it could lead to a stress fracture. SOOOOOOOO, I will do what the Dr. says. I have to wear this:::::
for three to six weeks.
Since I had worn this:::
for two months two years ago when I partially detached my Achilles tendon, I am not exactly excited about the joys of the boot. ( This injury has nothing to do with the past injury. It also has nothing to do with the fact that I am the proud owner of an extra bone in my foot!!!)
Even though I don't like this...I look around at other's burdens and this is one I will gladly bear. (remind me of that) This is easy-peasy to what others are going through.

- they are heavy
- they are hot
- they look UGLY!!
- it is impossible to go down stairs without the fear of tumbling down
- they rub
- they press
- darn it, they down smush your leg bone where that stupid strap goes...
- My clean socks will last twice as long.
- I don't have to find but one shoe in the morning
- and the best positive thing......MY FOOT HAS NOT HURT SINCE THE LADY WRAPPED IT AND PUT THE BOOT ON!!! YAHOO!!!!
